Real Time at The Filipina Time Project

The Filipina Time Project Stratum Two Time Server is Operational! It is multi-homed on a number of Stratum One Servers in different countries. Currently it is synchronized with less than one millisecond difference from the world atomic clock. It is under test to insure an end user accuracy of less than 5ms anywhere in the Philippines!

Filipina Time is just the opposite of Filipino Time.
The concept of the Filipina Time Project is based on the fact that it is hard to find out the actual time in the Philippines. Unlike in most countries where there is a phone number you can call toll free anytime, 24/7, and get the accurate time.
In the Philippines you set your watch according to your friend's watch, which in turn was set according to his friends watch.
Very few people have a good idea how to find out the real time in the Philippines!

The Goal of Filipina Time
The goal of the Filipina Time Project is to replace "Filipino Time" with "Filipina Time!"
What Filipina Time Is...
Basically, "Filipina Time" is the Opposite of "Filipino Time". As Filipino Time is always the wrong time, way to late or inappropriately early - - - without even a thought or concern for what it cost others...
The "Filipino Time" and "Filipino Tome" clocks decorating the left and right sides are a funny reminder or the way Filipino Time actually is (note the eleven is at the top!).
Filipina Time is being always on time, even if that means being a few minutes early!
Specific Goals for Filipina Time
1) Stratum Two NTP Time Server
To build the first Stratum Two NTP Time Server in the Philippines.
(NOTE: This Server is NOW OPERATIONAL and undergoing ACCURACY TESTING!)
2) 20 ph.pool.ntp.org NTP Time Servers
To build the first Stratum Two NTP Time Server in the Philippines
To help establish 20-40 College and University Level NTP Time Servers in the NTP pool project at ph.pool.ntp.org
